A link your clients send files to.
Stop asking for files by email. Send one link, they drop in whatever you asked for, and it lands in your account at full size. Nothing they send is ever public.

Three steps, and the third one is theirs.
After the client or the job. "Nordic Cabin, photos" or "Acme, source files". It gets a link.
By email, chat, wherever. They confirm their address once, so you always know who sent what.
As many times as they like, at full size. You get an email when something lands, and it is in your account.
Why not just email, or a shared folder?
Because the client's side of it is where it goes wrong. An inbox asks nothing of them but a browser.
| Shared folder | Filyhost inbox | ||
|---|---|---|---|
| Size limit | 20 to 25 MB, then it bounces | Whatever their plan allows | Full size, 50 GB of room |
| Client needs an account | No | Usually, or a sign-up wall | No, an emailed code once |
| Photos arrive full resolution | Phones compress them | Yes | Yes |
| Can they open each other's files | No | Everyone in the folder can | No. Only their own, and you |
| You know who sent what | Yes | Sometimes | Always, by address |
| Download everything at once | One attachment at a time | Yes | Yes, one archive |
| Closes when the job is done | Lives in your mailbox forever | Lingers until someone cleans up | One click, or on its own after 30 idle days |
The details that matter
Built for handing work between two people, and for nothing else.
An inbox has no public page. A client can open only what they sent themselves, and can withdraw it; other senders' files are a name and a sender to them, nothing more.
A 2 GB video goes up as it is. Large files upload in slices, so a dropped connection retries a slice, not the file.
An email when files land, batched so ten files is one message, not ten.
Download a selection or everything as a single .tar. If the connection drops at 20 GB of 25, it picks up where it left off.
Up to 25 people per inbox, 50 GB across all of them, and a kill switch. A leaked link cannot fill your account.
An inbox nobody has touched for 30 days deletes itself, and you are emailed before it does.
Unlimited inboxes, one payment.
Premium opens every link you share, adds invite-only links, and gives you as many inboxes as you have clients, with 50 GB of room for what they send.
